Walton is a village in the County of Milton Keynes, England. It is located about a mile to the west of Woburn Sands, and is joined with the town of Milton Keynes. The village name is a common one in England, and is Anglo Saxon in origin, meaning either 'village of the Britons' (wale being a word meaning Briton) or 'walled village'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Waletone.
