Waterloo is a locality in Sefton, Merseyside, North West England.

It was formerly an urban district with Seaforth, and then part of Crosby urban district, and is now part of Sefton district.

It is a residential district of Victorian villas and terraces, with shops and restaurants and a park facing the sea. It has a railway station and is connected to Liverpool by the "Dock Road".

Waterloo is known nationwide for Waterloo R.F.C., a rugby union club.
