Waverton railway station, Sydney - Definition and Overview

Waverton is a CityRail railway station on the Sydney's North Shore railway line, 6.1 km from Central and services a largely residential area. Prior to 20 May 1929, Waverton was called Bay Rd station.

The single track line to Lavender Bay joins the main North Shore railway line at Waverton. There is a reversing siding beside the passenger platfoms.
