Wedding Preparations in the Country (Hochzeitsvorbereitungen auf dem Lande) is an uncompleted work by Franz Kafka which depicts with a great amount of detail the journey of a man travelling to the country to meet his future wife. Written between 1907 and 1908, as most of Kafka´s work it was published after his death by his friend Max Brod.
