Wee Ben Nevis was a comic strip in The Beano comic, drawn by Vic Neill. It started in 1974. Wee Ben Nevis was a fictional highland boy of superhuman strength. He was sent by his father (Big Ben Nevis) to Pudding College (Headmaster Prof. Egwell Fryd), where he brought chaos to staff and students alike. Much of the humour stemmed from the fact that Wee Ben never realised (or at least never anticipated) his own strength.
