West Cambridge - Definition

West Cambridge refers to an area to the west of Cambridge city centre in England. Several of Cambridge University's science buildings have relocated to the West Cambridge site due to crowding in the centre: for example, the Cavendish Laboratory. The Isaac Newton Institute is also situated here, as well as the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory.
