West Cheshire Amateur Football League - Definition and Overview

The West Cheshire Amateur Football League is an English association football league in the county of Cheshire.Their current principal sponsors are Carlsberg,also sponsors of the South Western League.It has two divisions of 16 clubs each and a third of 15.

The league's clubs are eligible for the FA Vase but not the FA Cup,and its champions eligible for promotion to the Second Division of the North West Counties Football League.After repeated triumphs in the league's First Division,Cammell Laird F.C. were promoted to the NWC in 2004,and their reserve team,who had won the Second Division,were promoted to the First Division.

The league also sponsors cup competitions.
