West London Line - Definition and Overview

The West London Line is a short overground railway linking Clapham Junction in the south to Willesden Junction in the north. Trains run only ever half hour and are operated by Silverlink.

Additional passenger trains are run hourly along much of this route by Southern having started from Brighton or Gatwick Airport before skipping Willesden Junction to head up to Watford Junction. The line also carries considerable freight.
