The West Side Grounds was a baseball stadium that formerly stood at South Wood St. and West Polk St. in Chicago, Illinois. The stadium, which sat 16,000, was home to the Chicago Cubs from 1893-1915, when the team moved to Wrigley Field, vacated by the Chicago Whales of the recently defunct Federal League.
