Western Reserve College - Definition

Located in Hudson, Ohio, Western Reserve Academy is a private, mid-sized, coeducational boarding and day college prepatory school.

History

It was originally established in 1826 as Western Reserve College, a university as well as a college preparatory school. In the 1880's, the university moved to Cleveland, Ohio and became Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve), while the preparatory school stayed and became known as Western Reserve Academy.
