Weyoun - Definition and Overview

In the fictional Star Trek universe, Weyoun is the primary adjunct to the Female Shapeshifter, and the second-in-command of the Dominion forces in the Alpha Quadrant.

Weyoun is a Vorta, a race from the Gamma Quadrant. They have been adapted into the Dominion hierarchy as administrators.

The last Weyoun clone, Weyoun 8, was killed by Elim Garak, Kira Nerys and their coup. The possibility of Weyoun being resurrected is slim, due to victory of the United Federation of Planets and its allies over the Dominion. Even though genetic material may still exist to clone him again, the idea of another Weyoun may not be popular with the Cardassians or the Allies due to the nearly countless deaths that Weyoun was responsible for.

Weyoun was played by actor Jeffrey Combs.
