Wilcannia is a small town in north western New South Wales, Australia.
Wilcannia is located where the Barrier Highway crosses the Darling River. It is located in a remote and very sparsely settled area. The only industry is raising sheep. In the early days Wilcannia was a port for riverboats on the Darling River.
