Wilhelminna Sadrinna was a camp guard at two camps during the last two years of the Second World War.
Born on April 30, 1905 in Dortmund, Germany, in 1944 Wilhelminna was called to serve as a camp guard. The Nazis sent her to the Buchenwald camp in central Germany to undergo a training course. The thirty-nine year old overseer later served in the Dortmund subcamp of Buchenwald in her home town. As the Nazis evacuated the camp in the face of the US Army, Wilhelminna walked away from the camp and went home. She was never tracked down and placed on trial, and her fate remains unknown.
