William Horace Marshall(19 August 1924 - 11 June 2003) was an African American actor, director, opera singer, and Shakesperian. His career spanned from 1952 through 1996. He was born in Gary, Indiana. He lived north of Hanson Dam in Pacoima, California. He died from complications arising from Alzheimer's disease. He was always a gentleman with a commanding height of six foot - five inches. He had a voice close to that of James Earl Jones. In some of his films, he was credited as Bill Marshall.
