Winnipeg South is a Canadian electoral district that covers the south of the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was created in 1914, cut of the Winnipeg electoral district, and existed until 1976 when it was divided between Winnipeg—Assiniboine and Winnipeg—Fort Garry with another section going to Provencher. It was recreated in 1987 out of Winnipeg—Assiniboine and Winnipeg—Fort Garry districts. The seat is currently held by Reg Alcock who has held the seat since the 1993 Canadian election.
