"Without You" is the title of a song originally performed by Badfinger, which went on to be a hit after being reproduced by Harry Nilsson in 1971 and yet again by Mariah Carey in 1994. The band Air Supply, as well as Shirley Bassey, have also recorded this song.
The song was written by Peter Ham and Tom Evans. Ham's wife recalls the occasion which inspired the lyrics.
