Wognum (population: 8,081 in 2004) is a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 21.48 km² (of which 0.10 km² water).
The municipality of Wognum also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Nibbixwoud, Zwaagdijk-West.
Wognum received city rights in 1414.
