Woking F.C. are an English football team currently playing in the Nationwide Conference. The club was formed in 1889. They joined the West Surrey League in the 1895/96 season. In 1911 they joined the Isthmian League. They gained promotion to the Conference in 1992. They currently play at the Kingfield Stadium in Woking. They are nicknamed 'The Cardinals' or sometimes just 'The Cards' due to the cardinal red colour on their shirts (Red and White halves). Glenn Cockerill is their current manager.

In both the 1994/95 season and the 1995/96 season Woking finished runners-up in the Conference.

Woking have experienced many successes in the FA Cup. In the 1990/91 season they defeated West Bromwich Albion in the third round, and went on to play Everton at Goodison Park in the fourth round, losing 1-0. In the season of 1996/97 Woking won through to the third round defeating Millwall and Cambridge United. They were drawn to face the then Premiership team; Coventry City at their ground of Highfield Road. The Cardinals managed to hold their opposition to a 1-1 draw, with a last minute equaliser from Steve Thompson. This is the only time that a non-league side has drawn at a Premier League team's stadium. In the replay at Kingfield, Coventry scraped through 2-1.
