WrestleMania is the name given to the grandest event in professional wrestling, started in March 31, 1985 in New York's Madison Square Garden by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
WrestleMania is to wrestling as the Super Bowl is to professional football or as the World Series is to Major League Baseball, in the sense that it is the most important event of the year. It is the largest of all major wrestling events in the United States.
On Sunday, March 14, 2004, the 20th WrestleMania event took place at Madison Square Garden, which is where the first WrestleMania event took place.
