Wyoming Territory was an organized territory of the United States that was existed from 1868 until its admission to the Union as the State of Wyoming in 1890. Cheyenne was the territorial capital.

The territory was formally organized by Act of Congress on July 25, 1868. It was formed by parition of the Idaho Territory and with current boundaries of the State of Wyoming. It was admitted to the Union as the 44th state on July 10, 1890.
