The YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association) is a world-wide organisation. In the United Kingdom, the name has been truncated to YWCA and no longer uses the original expanded name due to the fact that Christianity no longer plays an integral part in the organisation.

The YWCA of U.S.A. is an organizational member of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, which advocates gun control.

The YWCA of Hong Kong, unlike its western counterparts, still runs its organization with heavy Christian themes.
