Yash Chopra - Definition and Overview

Yash Chopra (born 1932) is a writer, director and producer of Bollywood movies. He is the biggest director in Bollywood with smash hit movies like Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai and Veer-Zaara.

Biography

Yash Chopra was born at Lahore, Pakistan which was then the part of British India. Initially he worked under his brother B. R. Chopra. Later he setup his film production company Yashraj Films.

Yash Chopra's son Aditya Chopra is a film director. A second son Uday Chopra is an actor.
