Yetunde Price was the sister of famous tennis players Venus Williams and Serena Williams. Not a celebrity in her own right, she was brought into the public eye when she was the victim of murder by shooting on September 15, 2003. Price was 31 years old when she got into an altercation with residents of a poor section of Compton, an area of Los Angeles, California known for its history of gang violence. As of 12:30 PM on the date of the murder a 24-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the crime.
