Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM (http://www.nyse.com/about/listed/lcddata.html?ticker=YUM)) is a Louisville, Kentucky based corporation which owns the restaurant chains KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, A&W Restaurants, and Long John Silver's.

It was created as Tricon Global Restaurants in October 1997 when PepsiCo spun off its restaurant holdings. In May 2002, with the acquisition of A&W and Long John Silver's, Tricon changed its name to Yum!.
