Yuri Norstein (Russian: Юрий Норштейн) is a Russian animator. He was born on September 15, 1941 in Andreevka, a Moscow suburb.
As of 2004, he is working on an adapation of Gogol's Overcoat, a project that has met numerous financial troubles.
