ZEGG - Definition and Overview

ZEGG (Zentrum für experimentelle Gesellschaftsgestaltung, or Center for Experimental Cultural Design) is an ecovillage located on fifteen acres near Berlin, Germany.

It is an intentional community that focuses on transparency and trust, while allowing members privacy and self-sufficiency (for example, members have their own independent finances).

As of 2005, the community is comprised of around 80 members.
