Zhangzhou (漳州; pinyin: Zhāngzhōu) is a prefecture-level city, located on the banks of the Xi River in the Fujian province of China, about 55 km (35 mi) west of Xiamen.
In older English works, its name may be written as Chang-Chow or Changchow.
