Zoram - Definition and Overview

Zoram (BoM Arabic زورام Zūrām) was a servant of Laban in the Book of Mormon. According to the First Book of Nephi, Zoram led Nephi, who was disguised as Laban, into Laban's treasury. Nephi deception allowed him to obtain the Brass Plates containing his people's geneology and traditions. Swearing allegence to Nephi, Zoram followed Nephi, his father Lehi and Lehi's other sons to the Americas.
