Missing image Banovine_kj.jpg Map showing banovinas in 1929 (Drinska banovina is coloured orange) The Drinska banovina was one of the chief provinces of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The capital was Sarajevo. The Yugoslavian banovinas were intentionally not related to ethnic boundaries. It was named after the river Drina.
