 Udmurtia - Definition 

Udmurtia (Russian: Удму́ртия, Udmurt: Удмурт Элькун) is an autonomous republic of Udmurts in eastern European Russia in the Privolzhsky (Volga) Federal District, bordering on the republics of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and the Kirov and Perm oblasts. The biggest city in Udmurtia is the capital Izhevsk, other cities include Kamsko-Votkinsk. Area: 42,100 sq km. Pop. (2002) 1,616,200.
