Abyss Interpretation: An abyss can always be considered an obstacle. If you can manage to keep from falling into one in your dreams, though it may look like you will, you will overcome your current problem. However, falling into the abyss, is a stern warning that you should be very careful, as there may be danger present in your business dealings. Mad dog Interpretation: Seeing a mad dog in your dream means you may be under some sort of attack from strangers looking to destroy your business. If you manage to kill the dog or escape with no injuries then this will denote that you will escape all harm at the hands of an enemy. To see someone else kill the dog means you will have a staunch supporter. Earthquake Interpretation: To be shaken by an earthquake denotes that you will have some serious business challanges. If you manage to get to safty then you will overcome these problems and keep your business up to par. Should you be injured or trapped it foretells complete loss of all your business and assets. Fire Interpretation: A fire is also a complex omen in a dream and must be interpreted in light of the actions connected with it. To see a house burning down in a dream is the warning that a close relative needs help from you desperately. If the fire burns you, you will have bad luck, if not, then you will have good luck. A small fire in the fireplace shows contentment in the dreamer, but if you stir it with a poker you will soon have a romantic adventure. If you manage to put out a destructive fire then you will overcome the obstacles in your path of life. Insect Interpretation: Insects in a dream always represent obstacles that you must overcome to reach your goals, if you manage to exterminate them or they are not bothersome to you then you will meet your obstacles with strength, and be able to overcome them. Insects also represent excessive worry over certain things, meditate to find out what they might mean to you by using all the symbols in your dream for reference. Babysitting / Babysitter Interpretation: To dream of babysitting children, represents your need to make stronger friendships based on real affection and values, instead of superficial things. If the baby you are taking care of is crying, you are lacking understanding from others. If you dream that someone is babysitting you, you are frustrated that others try to manage your life for you - you want more freedom. Blackout Interpretation: To dream of a power outage (a "blackout") represents your feelings of powerlessness in real life. There is some situation in which you felt unable to do anything. If you walked a long way in the dark during this dream, there is hope of recovering something that you had given up for lost. If you managed to get the power turned back on, or if you found your way to the light, you will conquer your obstacles and achieve great success. Dust Interpretation: To dream of seeing a cloud of dust gathering or rolling indicates a new problem on your horizon which will only be overcome with a lot of effort. Other dreams about dust predict an upcoming period of annoyances, petty quarrels and minor embarrassments. However, if you manage to clean up the dust in your dream, things will get better for you quickly in real life. Also see "Dusting." Chewing gum Interpretation: For several years now, I have been receiving similar dreams from people all over the world. The dreams are almost exactly the same and involve the dreamers' inability to get rid of chewing gum. The more they attempt to remove it from their mouths the larger and more unmanageable it becomes. In the dream they become frustrated and panicky because the harder they try to pull, the larger the mass becomes in their mouths. This dream suggests that the dreamer may experience frustration in daily life due to a large scale or standing insolvable problem that leaves them feeling powerless. The dream represents an inability to digest or to process information or a dilemma. It also suggests that the dreamer is not able to express him or herself effectively and that repetitive and ineffective verbal expressions are typically used. Chewing gum in dreams may be a sign of childlike behaviors, vulnerability, powerlessness, and a need for nourishment. |
