3. (Med.) Accompanied with, or tending to cause,
preternatural heat and excitement of arterial action; as,
an inflammatory disease.
Inflammatory crust. (Med.) Same as Buffy coat, under
Buffy.
Inflammatory fever, a variety of fever due to inflammation.
