Of or pertaining to a natural order of apetalous plants
({Polygonace[ae]), of which the knotweeds (species of
Polygonum) are the type, and which includes also the docks
({Rumex), the buckwheat, rhubarb, sea grape ({Coccoloba}),
and several other genera.
